Stanley Hottek

The musician Stanley Hottek, who was born in Freiberg and lives in Leipzig, has been working with electronic music for over 26 years. It started in the early 90s on a trance label owned by soundbase music maker Steffen Kuschel. Stanley developed many preferences for certain areas of electronic music over the years. In addition to some hard techno productions from 1996 - 2001 on Planet Pump, Axial and Wheels Works, he also experiments with various other styles such as IDM, noise, mood, ambient. The first musical attempts were made in the early 90s with trackers such as Noisetrekker, Screamtracker and finally the Fasttracker 2. This also shaped the style of his musical work for a while. He has now set up a small studio where he can choose between different music sources. In addition to his favorites from Elektron, he also uses some modular devices and Bitwig. Stanley has been involved in remixes for 16Pad Noise Terrorist, Sans-Fin at Hands Production and Georg Bigalke at Drec Records. Since 2021 he has been overseeing and organizing the latest releases on Kellermusik Records, the label of Klima alias Morbus M. or Exocet.
