ANTØNIØ has been an integral part of the London underground techno scene for years. During this time he has developed a distinctive sound that moves between driving grooves, raw energy and hypnotic structures. Most recently, he co-founded Fragment, a community-focused event series in London. Fragment brings together artists, friends and like-minded people who share a common passion for techno. The focus is less on the traditional event format and more on promoting exchange within the local scene and networking a wide variety of artists and approaches. Rhythm also plays the main role in his DJ sets: fast, rolling sequences meet powerful basslines and precise percussion. Instead of relying solely on broad arcs of suspense or obvious climaxes, the sound continually evolves through groove, repetition and subtle variations. ANTØNIØ oscillates between raw, direct tracks and more hypnotic passages. The energy comes from the interaction of the individual elements - the pressure of the bassline, the forward thrust of the drums and the shifts within the groove. For our podcast, ANTØNIØ put together a mix that reflects exactly this facet of his sound: fast, reduced and rhythmically focused, with a clear reference to the London techno tradition.

Not every mix has to constantly claim to be relevant. Nick Noize prefers to do the opposite: leave space, maintain pressure, allow patience. Vinyl Matters works less through peak-time reflexes than through persistence. Dry grooves, reduced percussion and this pleasantly calm way of letting tracks just work.

The flow remains consistently linear without becoming monotonous. Dubby moments appear and disappear again, metallic textures unobtrusively move forward. Nothing seems over-staged, much of it is deliberately functional. In places this is reminiscent of those nights when the floor doesn't explode, but slowly gets denser.

In the context of Solid Rush it makes sense: techno without fashionable contortions, more continuity than a statement. Vinyl Matters sees repetition not as a standstill, but as a tool. Less attention economy, more condition. Almost old-fashioned - and that's why it's remarkable.

EMPISH is a Swedish DJ whose techno is deeply rooted in his family and culture. Since he grew up surrounded by these sounds from an early age, techno has been a constant companion for him since he was a child. After over a decade spent deep in the underground and rave scene - including five years behind the decks - EMPISH has developed a strong connection to the dance floor and its energy. Over the years, EMPISH has explored numerous facets of techno, ultimately finding its true musical home in the hypnotic realm. This journey has shaped a sound that is both deep and driving - a sound where groove and power go hand in hand. This mix delivers rhythms with a rich groove and a driving, energetic and powerful flow: pumping, extremely groovy and designed to get the body moving while taking the mind into a hypnotic state.

LC-G is a hard groove artist from Calabria whose musical development took place in Naples - a city that significantly shaped his sonic vision and deep sense of rhythm. There he developed a real passion for electronic music, absorbing the raw energy of the dance floor and using it to create a personal and distinctive sound. His style is deep, hypnotic and sensual, driven by the constant search for the perfect balance between driving grooves and subtle sonic nuances. Each set is designed with meticulous attention to detail, paying attention to the smallest sounds, textures and rhythmic nuances. This creates immersive sound experiences that captivate body and mind alike. LC-G sees hard groove as an immersive experience where rhythmic intensity meets sophisticated depth. CiRCUiTRY CHRONiCLES w/ mayo aka marco menzel

Mayo aka Marco Menzel is not a new name in the label's environment. Since the old 1040 days, a friend, a companion, a co-movers in the background - someone who doesn't have to be loud to stay present.

He is now delivering his first set for the CiRCUiTRY CHRONiCLES - less a showcase than a description of the condition. The mix works with patience: dry kicks, rolling basslines, finely interwoven percussion and always this dubby depth that suggests more than it expresses. Tension does not arise through drops, but rather through shifts in detail, through layering, across space.

Complex in structure, clear in attitude. Nothing about it is intended to be pleasing, nothing is based on trends. Instead, functional club sound with an emotional undertone. Reduced but never empty. Hypnotic without getting lost in the loop.

Not mainstream. No fireworks display.
But a set that takes its time - and that's exactly why it works.

Simon Eickenboom is an artist from Berlin who specialises in multi-layered loops and immersive soundscapes. With his narrative approach in his sets, he combines timeless old-school grooves with modern tracks, creating his very own energy. It effortlessly alternates between light, emotional atmospheres and gloomy, mechanical rhythms without ever losing its dynamism.

Shane Feeney, our guest from Galway, Ireland, hardly gave us any information – classic move.

Our new mixcast series is entering the next round - this time with Murkyaself from St. Petersburg, who is currently based in Belgrade due to the current situation.

For the 19th edition of our CiRCUiTRY CHRONiCLES series, we take you into the cool darkroom of post-industrial soundscapes - straight from Kaunas, Lithuania, where No Rules forms his dark visions of EBM, industrial and dystopian pop with uncompromising consistency.

Behind the alias No Rules stands Vitalijus, an artist who does not cling to conventions, but wanders through the shadows of machine music with a merciless sense of structure, coldness and physicality. His mixes are like rusty gears - interlocking, pulsating, a little menacing, but unstoppably hypnotic.

In his contribution to the series, No Rules builds a sonic scenario that oscillates between steel beams, washed-out neon lights and clanging drums. EBM basslines meet industrial textures, dystopian vocals meet mechanical precision. Nothing here is intended to please - but everything is captivating.

Today's mixcast guest comes from the north near Rostock: Recovery.Issue. Having been active in electronic music since 2007, he found his own way behind the decks in 2022 - inspired by the club break during the pandemic.

Influenced by the deep house era around 2010, he deliberately stays away from digital trends. Instead: relaxed, groovy sound – played exclusively on vinyl. No digital track, just real craftsmanship and a lot of heart for the music and its makers.

This time our mixcast comes from the capital of the United Kingdom, London, and is brought to you by TOOTHTAXI - the dynamic duo consisting of TILEBOI and YELLOWCAR. Both come from the industrial north-east of England and have been fixtures on the party scene for many years before starting their DJ careers at the beginning of 2023. TILEBOI, who closed last year's Necropolis Festival, is known for his dark industrial sounds where hard underground techno meets mechanical, groove-laden rhythms. YELLOWCAR draws heavily from her childhood in Spain, where she developed a penchant for heavy bass and Latin-influenced techno, which is reflected in the sexy, dancefloor-ready grooves she has showcased in London's club scene.

Together, as their collaborative project TOOTHTAXI, and fresh from performances at some of London's hottest queer raves, they deliver a mix of otherworldly, dark grooves with a clear focus on the dancefloor. Look forward to a driving, powerful and hypnotic experience!

Deep dub techno DJ and producer Sa3b is becoming known for his carefully curated sets and precise track selection. Inspired by the pioneers of the genre, Sa3b has built a steady following through his work. His music is characterized by deep bass lines and atmospheric soundscapes that authentically fuse dub techno and minimal.

Of particular note is his work on the Beirut Nights Volumes series, which highlights his ability to create atmospheric and immersive sets. Sa3b stays true to his musical roots and is active as both a producer and a remixer. His latest release on Mixcult Records once again shows his commitment to the development of dub techno.

In addition to his productions, Sa3b is a resident DJ at Less is More Lim (Metanoia), where he regularly demonstrates his skills.

Sometimes hidden in the convoluted paths of electronic music is a gem that speaks more through its silence than through loud words. Luis from sleepy Hirrlingen is one of those artists whose aura of mystery and reserve surrounds his art like a shimmering mist.

His sets on SoundCloud are like puzzle pieces from a dream, carefully selected and artfully assembled to create a world beyond the ordinary. Each track is a brushstroke on his canvas of soundscapes, each transition a metamorphic journey through time and space.

Luis reveals little about himself, but his music speaks volumes about the depth of his thoughts and the intensity of his emotions. The man knows good music; That's why you'll even find legends like Sven Väth in his sets, revitalized by his own artistic interpretation.

Real German Underground Music! Since 2008, Mario Hilliger aka Brox Kadus, the DJ and producer from Magdeburg, is no longer an unknown quantity. He has been in the techno scene for 15 years and has gigs around his home base. He is a member of the up-and-coming Magdeburg DJ circle Magdeburg-Allstars and the associated Magdeburg-Allstars podcast. With his own events he tries to keep the old and new techno dancers alive, paired with new digital forms.

In the dark corners of Leipzig's electronic music scene there is a man who not only plays records, but celebrates them. Robert Müller, also known as Robert Mülli or Mülli Robert, is a real vinyl specialist with many years of experience and a deep connection to the Saxon city's lively scene. Behind the decks, Müller stands out not only for his musical ability, but also for his humble presence. He prefers to act in the background and his record portfolio says more than words. Enrico Tucalúec is characterized by his preference for tight techno and only plays vinyl. He can be found regularly at various events, where he always has a fine selection of good and popular records up his sleeve. He also runs his own Secret Underground podcast on YouTube and also organizes events under the same name.

Madera from VariFocus is a DJ with years of experience and an extensive record collection. Originally from Western Pomerania, he found his musical path to Berlin and finally to Leipzig, where he lives as a Leipzig resident. As the founder of the VariFocus channel, he is at home in many areas of electronic music and is characterized by his intuitive and high-quality DJ mixes, which are known for their special music selection. Although he doesn't belong to any particular scene, his love for electronic music has remained strong since the mid-90s.

The last event of the Bermuda crew took place on December 3, 2016 at Gieszer 16 in Leipzig, which also included the guys from Radio:akiv, Kellermusik and Stoerfunk. We have the first recording of this event for you here to show what music was played back then - far away from rave synths and leather hype.

It started with Demian, who was previously known as Steffen EHK in the 90s as a well-known DJ in Leipzig and also had his own record label called Denke Denke. Other acts that evening included Madera, Paul A, Klangbild, Klima and Stanley Hottek. There was also a video installation by Freeze Tyler and Testvavve.

This event marked the end of an era in which electronic music had a different meaning than it does today. The Gieszer 16 was previously an important venue for the local scene and it is notable that the Bermuda crew and their partners have managed to continue this tradition.
