We Are E.P. 25 years later – Planet Pump is back! A quarter of a century has passed since “Klangphase 2”, the last release on Planet Pump Records – a label that was founded in Leipzig in the early 1990s and was known and appreciated far beyond the city limits for its straightforward yet playful techno. The original members have now gotten older, started families - or simply haven't grown up yet. But one thing has never changed: her love for music and her unwavering passion for producing. On the contrary: Over time they have gained a lot of experience and their productions have now reached a completely new, professional level. Steffen Kuschel, who heralded the birth of Planet Pump with Soundbase Music and Leipzig's first record store, is still a strong supporter of the label today. Equally influential are Uwe Schröder and Stanley Hottek, who are responsible for the majority of Planet Pump publications. Stanley Hottek, also known as Stan-Lee, was musically unstoppable. So it's no wonder that now, after 25 years, he returns to his roots with his 14th release: more mature, perhaps a little grayer, but with undiminished enthusiasm in search of new paths in electronic music. The result: A rapid ride from 133 BPM to well over 140 BPM - just like back then, only today. The price for the digital download is deliberately set higher because our heart beats for vinyl.
